Instructions:

  1. Calculate the ring’s internal diameter (in mm). Make sure the 0mm point is where the ruler begins.
  2. Cut a thin strip of paper and make sure it is not too wide with respect to your finger width.
  3. At the desired part for your ring, wrap the paper strip around your finger. To get the optimum fit, make sure the paper is pulled snugly against your finger—the tighter, the better.
  4. Mark the intersection of the paper and use a ruler to measure the distance (mm).
